How It Works
Six clear stages — from first contact to full lien release. Designed specifically for foreigners and expats buying property in Colombia.

Initial Contact & Pre-Qualification
Connect with our team via WhatsApp or the application portal. We review your nationality, income source, and property goals to determine preliminary eligibility — no Colombian credit score required.

Loan Approval & Property Selection
Submit your full application. We underwrite based on the asset (the property) and your income, not your Colombian credit history. Once pre-approved, you select or confirm the property to serve as collateral.

Closing — Notary & Registry
The mortgage deed is executed before a Colombian notary (escritura pública). The lien is registered with the Oficina de Instrumentos Públicos, securing WLG's first-lien position on the property. Funds are disbursed at closing.

Life of the Mortgage
Monthly interest payments are made per your agreed schedule. WLG monitors the loan throughout its term, and our bilingual team remains available for any service needs. Investors receive returns backed by your registered lien.

Full Repayment & Paz y Salvo
Upon full repayment of principal and interest, WLG issues a Paz y Salvo — the Colombian certificate confirming the loan is completely paid and there are no outstanding obligations.

Mortgage Lien Release
With the Paz y Salvo in hand, the mortgage lien (hipoteca) is formally cancelled at the notary and removed from the public property registry. Your property is now fully unencumbered.
